As the students are from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds, the faculties help the to deliver undergraduate teaching in a meaningful manner and create an environment where students are able to discover their potentialsPhysics Department offers B.Sc. and M.Sc. Programme. The basic syllabus has been designed by the University. The laboratories are well equipped with the latest apparatus. We have a dedicated research lab where thepost graduate students work for their practical classes. Many of the faculty members of this department have participated in workshops, conferences in India and also outside to enrich themselves. Besides the usual teaching, faculty members are engaged in mentoring students. They are also engaged in activities of social relevance. The department gives exposure in career counselling mostly to the final year students. It helps the students to identify and focus on their career goals. Students are encouraged to participate in debates, quizzesand student seminars, and paper presentations.
