CONTRIBUTION TOWARDS THE INSTITUTIONAL WELFARE FUND
Greetings from Shri Mathuradas Mohota College of Science, Nagpur!!!
We wish to inform you all that the institution is progressing well with support from all of you! The college has been awarded ‘A’ grade in the third cycle of NAAC accreditation process in 2017. This was certainly a big leap from the earlier accreditation status. Now, we are preparing to face the fourth cycle of accreditation which is scheduled in 2023. Due to the recently incorporated changes, it has become more transparent and tougher than before. The students are associated with the college during a crucial phase of their life which prepares them to step into the professional life. Therefore, we are committed to cater to every need of the student during and after their tenures as students of our college. Considering the student centric approach, the college is trying to provide the best possible academic as well as infrastructure facilities for overall development of students. To achieve our goals, the institution needs to put in extra efforts.
The institution is currently developing a better infrastructure. Therefore, we have few goals including:
- 1. Up-gradation of laboratories and classrooms
- 2. Self sufficient energy utilization using solar energy
- 3. Expansion of rain harvesting facility
- 4. Rejuvenation of wells
- 5. Expansion of green cover in and around the campus
- 6. Installation of state of the art facilities for seminar hall/ conference room
- 7. Construction of well equipped auditorium
- 8. Modernization of gymnasium
- 9. Revitalizing and expanding composting and vermin-composting facilities
- 10. Making the entire campus approachable for differently abled students and teachers
- 11. Installation of elevators for differently abled students and teachers
In addition to this, we wish to offer institutional scholarships to those deserving candidates who are needy and do not get any financial support from the government schemes. We also wish to provide financial aid in the form of tuition fees, examination fees, etc. This will attract more and more students to the institution and ultimately take the institution to a new height.
Our goal is to achieve excellence and make you all proud to be the stakeholders of this prestigious institution.
