Secretary’s Message

Nagpur Shikshan Mandal (NSM) is one of the oldest and the most prestigious institutions of the Central India. Shri Mathuradas Mohota College of Science, Nagpur is one of the colleges flourishing under the patronage of NSM. Established in 1949, the college has been continuously making efforts towards achieving excellence in the education sector. The college has established its name as one of the leading institutions for science education due to the untiring efforts put in by the eminent teachers. 

The college provides education in science to the students of the junior college, under-graduation and post-graduation. The college is also recognized research centers for pursuing Ph.D. in Chemistry and Physics. The management and the staff of the college always make efforts to provide the best of the infrastructure and the education at all of these levels. The management supports all the stakeholders of the college to achieve its goals. The college has given many talented professionals to the society and is also proud of its Alumni Association. The college has not only excelled in the field of education, but also has shown remarkable achievements in co-curricular activities including sports. Our institution is proud of all of its achievers. The college has also contributed to the wellbeing of the society in many ways and I would like to assure you that it will continue to do so.

Shri Mathuradas Mohota College of Science, Nagpur has been reaccredited with ‘A’ Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bengaluru in the third assessment cycle.
